Our History

We opened our doors in May of 2005 with the goal of creating a full-service, comprehensive dog care destination. Over the past 13 years, we’ve focused on continuously improving our processes and procedures to provide the best care for your dogs!

Our Pack

At the heart of Doguroo are the dedicated employees that make up our human pack. The 30 plus team members work tirelessly to provide the best care for your pup; ensuring their safety and happiness is always our number one priority. Much of our staff has over 5 years tenure with Doguroo, so you can feel secure that your dog is in experienced, caring hands.

The Doguroo Name

Doguroo (pronounced DOG–oo-roo) is a play on the words dog and Guru. These two words reflect our love of dogs (Dog) and our thirst for understanding and sharing everything there is to know about dogs (Guru). We changed the spelling of guru to guroo for its playfulness and to make sure we don’t take ourselves too seriously!

The Facility

At 25,000 square feet, our facility is considerably larger than most. Within the vast space provided are various safety conscious constructions specifically tailored for our four legged guests. With such a large facility we never fill up for daycare and are generally very accommodating for short notice boarding stays.

Vaccination Requirements

We require all our pups to be current on the following vaccines:

• Rabies

• DHLP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, Parainfluenza)

• Parvo

• Bordetella (AKA Kennel Cough)

*We accept Titers testing for DHLP and Parvo.

We highly recommend all our pups to be current on the following vaccine:

• Canine Influenza (H3N2 OR Bivalent – Both rounds)

*We accept a signed liability waiver in lieu of CIV
